The Second Workshop in the Oregon Leadership Training Series
Communication is at the heart of every success and every failure, whether we’re talking about relationships, teams, departments or organizations. If you can improve communication, you can improve your outcomes.
How you communicate influences how you make decisions, respond to stress and respond to the communication styles of other people.
The way you communicate is also referred to as your social style. When leaders and team members are aware of each other’s preferred social style, they can become more socially agile and adjust their style to complement others. By shifting your social style in key situations, you can improve communication, increase engagement, accelerate decisions and get results faster.
Improving Communication Through Social Agility
This intensive workshop begins with an online assessment to determine your social style preference. You’ll then learn how to identify the communication preferences of others, even if they don't take the assessment.
To improve your social agility, you’ll learn how to effectively communicate with all social styles. Instructor Dean Newlund will introduce tools you can use to help others make decisions and defuse conflict while improving engagement.
This is the second workshop in the Oregon Leadership Training Series.
Developed by international executive coach Dean Newlund, this Series is comprised of three courses. (You can opt to enroll in the full series or enroll in individual courses.) Each course focuses on an essential element of authentic leadership. Over three days, you will learn how to look inward to lead with authenticity while developing effective leadership techniques.
