OSU-permaculture-design-certificate-PERM-TIMES_DEC2_JPG

Permaculture is a design system for creating sustainable human habitats that enhance the natural environment, while increasing resources like water, food, & soil fertility in the process. The permaculture design process relies heavily on site analysis and mapping, to determine the forces and conditions present on a site, in order to best design for them in a constructive way.

This edition of The Permaculture Times highlights content that we've produced on the topic of mapping and design, so please enjoy and happy mapping!

Favorite FREE Online Mapping Program - Scribblemap

Through my career I've spent decades doing mapping, analysis, and design for permaculture projects, and used tons of different digital mapping and graphics tools, always searching for the most useful one.

I have never done any kind of product review or promotion before, until now.

Check out my product review video for this FREE online mapping tool that I am finding super useful: Scribble Maps.

The free version stands alone with lots of features. We are using the paid Pro version in my online Rainwater Harvesting course, and it's going well!  So if you are looking for the thing you always wished Google Earth was, watch the product review video!
