Grow a Plant


Observe how a tiny seed grows into a plant. Learn what a plant needs to grow and how you can provide it. Harvest microgreens that you grow and make them into a fresh salad.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the program, you will be able to:

  • Label the life cycle of plants/animals

  • Describe what a plant needs to grow

  • Identify where and how food is grown in Klamath/Oregon

  • Identify Oregon grown foods and know what they taste like
