Winners and Prizes

Best estimate wins Bowl, Whisk, Egg Slicer and egg recipes for everyone in your class!
Winners will be announced by May 2nd, 2022 via email. 

Entry Rules

• To enter, you must be a class from a school located in Klamath County.
  
  
• Encourage students to gather information ie. number of students in the district, use math or other predictive tools to come up with best estimate.
  
  
• For your estimate, use the same recipe cafeteria staff will prepare for breakfast.

Why do a contest? 

Each month, Klamath Schools partner with OSU Extension to feature local, Oregon-grown foods in the cafeteria. In April, eggs from Klamath County local farms and FFA programs are served for breakfast in Klamath County Schools. This contest encourages students to think about the process of getting all these eggs from the hen to their plate!
