This online Substance Use Disorders 101 program is an introductory course that provides an overview of substance use disorders, along with evidence-based approaches to prevention, intervention, and treatment.
Whereas other continuing education courses on substance use and abuse tend to focus on specific professions or specific situations, this course takes a more comprehensive and inclusive approach and is uniquely designed for anyone interested in helping individuals or communities impacted by substance use disorders.
After covering the basics of substance use disorders, you will discover evidence-based models for treatment, recovery, intervention, and prevention of substance use disorders.
By the end of the online Substance Use Disorder training, you will be prepared to see, support, refer, and encourage anyone facing a challenge with SUDs.
