Examples include transforming existing for-credit course content for new audiences (e.g., modularizing for adult learners), creating multimedia content for specific projects and/or developing training modules for internal (OSU) audiences.
Facilitate workforce development solutions
Often, our partners have specific data collection, reporting and access needs. We offer flexible and accessible options to meet the unique needs of partners and learners alike.
Our collaborations address regional, community or employer-specific needs. We can help you and your external partners rapidly scale high-impact professional development.
Establish financially sustainable noncredit programs
Since 2020, our partnership-driven programs have generated more than $3 million in incremental revenue for our college and faculty partners. Our dedicated program management, marketing and enrollment support teams are uniquely focused on launching and managing successful noncredit programs on your behalf.
Extend the reach and impact of your research and teaching
Deploying noncredit programming through PACE may help you reach vast new communities and audiences – across the US and beyond.

PACE team members will help you develop learning experiences that meet the unique needs of your learners, enabling them to achieve their professional and personal enrichment goals.
Our instructional designers aim to create online programs that not only achieve learning objectives, but also promote high engagement and learning enjoyment. Explore some examples of interactive PACE course elements below.
As with online, for-credit learning, PACE course material is often delivered asynchronously.
To encourage engagement and module completion, PACE instructional designers often use Articulate 360’s Rise program to create dynamic, interactive self-paced lectures.
To maximize learner engagement, our team utilized interactive elements such accordions and flip cards, embedded multimedia content and integrated knowledge checks. We provide a host of options for customization.
Our approach addresses online learning accessibility requirements, is device responsive and makes translating course content to other languages simple.
This custom interactive allows learners to explore the decisions generally made in the cheese making process.
The slider and buttons encourage learners to choose how they engage with the content.
This element is featured in the Dairy Foods Manufacturing Specialty Cheese Making course and was created using Articulate 360’s Storyline.
Microlessons can be effective ways to create free or low cost content or to preview a larger program. Created as a “teaser” for PACE’s Permaculture programming, this interactive microlesson allows for branching scenarios and embedded multimedia content.
The Water in Permaculture microlesson was created using 7Taps, one of the many innovative e-learning tools our instructional designers have at their disposal.

"Our aim is to provide efficient, high-quality learning for doctors and others working animal cruelty cases and we chose to partner with OSU PACE in this vital work.
The PACE team delivered on quality and expertise across the board, and we are very proud of the result! Our new course will help professionals do this important work and bring voice to victim animals involved in crimes. The experts at PACE helped us with the design and creation of our course every step of the way. We could not have asked for better partners."

"Food Science and Technology has made online training a priority because it’s a priority for the food and beverage industry we serve. Among the many challenges facing the sector, ensuring a robust and well-trained workforce is at the top of the list.
OSU’s PACE team has been a dream to work with every step of the way to bring our vision to life. Because we view it as a potential competitive advantage, delivering a meaningful overall user experience is as important as delivering the right content. OSU’s PACE team was instrumental in making this possible and we’re delighted with the market response to our first launch in early 2023 and look forward to collaborating with them for years to come on our pipeline."
