Daryl Lindsey is the founder & principal designer of YardFarmer and a life-long lover of plants and wildlife. Like many who live in the Salt Lake Valley, Daryl's anxiety about the state of the Great Salt Lake spurred her to find meaning in action. Enter YardFarmer, a sustainable design studio centered on native plants and water conservation. Since opening for business, YardFarmer has designed more than 300 native, waterwise landscapes, saving over 10 million gallons of water. Daryl has certifications in Permaculture Design and Rainwater Harvesting Design. While not designing, you'll find Daryl painting or playing in the mountains with her husband Steven and rescue husky, Aspen.
 
JR Morgan Permaculture
 Eugene native Arnold E Morgan Jr. as a boy worked countless hours with his father’s landscape business, and from there he has transitioned into a more organic and sustainable approach with his work. With a businesss degree from the University of Puerto Rico, ethical business decisions, good heart and a green thumb Morganic Roots was developed. On his journey he has also received a certificate in both horticulture, permaculture design and advance permaculture design focusing on climate resilience from Oregon State University.

Tao Orion holds a degree in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from UC Santa Cruz and a MSc degree in Climate Change, Agriculture, and Food Security from the National University of Ireland, Galway. She is the author of Beyond the War on Invasive Species: A Permaculture Approach to Ecosystem Restoration (Chelsea Green Publishing, 2015). Tao is an instructor and program administrator in the Permaculture program at Oregon State University and serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Rural Livelihoods. She lives in the southern WIllamette Valley on a farm with her husband and two children.
