We connect Josephine youth and their families to food and all its remarkable forms: growing it, tasting it, cooking it and sharing it with others. We provide engaging educational opportunities to learn where food comes from, how it’s grown, how to safely cook and how food is part of our personal and community health.
We are a team of OSU Extension educators with skills ranging from gardening and cooking to food systems, nutrition, youth development and physical activity, agriculture and more. We are bound by our passion for building a healthy community through access to food and education about food and agriculture.
These projects are funded, in part, by grants from ODE Farm to School and USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
