OREGON STATE CAREER SERIES

OSU's Spanish-English Health Care Interpreter Training

Thursday, August 31 | 12 - 1 p.m.

DID YOU KNOW:  Providing accurate and informed language interpretation is one of the many benefits of interpreters.

Oftentimes, interpreters also serve as cultural liaisons between patients and medical staff. Research has shown that the use of an interpreter diminishes adverse outcomes, increases patient satisfaction, and enhances adherence and positive outcomes.

The Spanish-English Health Care Interpreter training program provides the formal training for students to apply to become an OHA Qualified or Certified interpreter. This 64-hour program offers students a chance to develop their communication skills while advancing their career.

Join us for a 1-hour webinar to learn more about the Health Care Interpreter training program
