In this course, you will explore how to use instructional design strategies and tools to develop effective e-learning for a wide range of learners.

In this course, you will learn how to:

  • Define and compare e-learning to other modes of learning
  • Identify the characteristics of meaningful learning
  • Analyze learner and task needs
  • Relate learning theories and knowledge acquisition models (Bloom's taxonomy, learning styles, behaviorism, objectivism, cognitivism, constructivism, backward design principles, etc.) to instructional strategies and learning outcomes
  • Develop concise, measurable and meaningful learner outcomes
  • Compare and contrast a variety of e-learning instructional strategies and tools

Time Commitment: Plan for 3-6 hours of work per week.
