Our E-Learning Instructional Design and Development Certificate culminates with the E-Learning Practicum. This practicum will enable you to plan, design, develop and evaluate your own online course, unit or training to complete the program.
In this course, you will learn how to:
Students must complete the other E-Learning Instructional Design and Development courses before taking the eLearning Practicum.
Time Commitment: Plan for 3-6 hours of work per week.
For this practicum, you will complete some preliminary planning assignments that will be foundational to your efforts to design and develop your course or training.
It will be important that you include in your course or training how you will gather feedback from learners to evaluate this training in a process of “continual improvement” (QM). At the conclusion of this course you will have an opportunity to reflect on your personal experience in this instructional design process.
You will be able to work on these assignments on your own schedule, within the framework of deadlines. Unlike the previous courses in this program, this course will require you to be a bit more individualized and independent which will require your dedication in order to complete your project in a 6-week timeframe.

If you are new to instructional design, it is strongly recommended that you take the courses in sequence, although it is not required. You must complete all other courses before beginning the E-Learning Practicum. To earn the certificate, all courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher, or a pass.
