In module 13, we will look at the membrane separation and concentration technologies.
Membrane Filtration is a relatively new technology being adapted for concentration and fractionation processes for milk, whey and their components.
We will see the common definitions used in membrane separation, basics of separation, and materials and membranes used for separation.
We will also learn the details of the membrane processes and their applications in the dairy industry.
